well seeing as your a BOY who wants to start ballet...there's gonna be TONS of places that want you (my studio is always looking for more guys)

most places that I know of will let guys wear anything that they can stretch around in...but in actual performances they might have to wear tights, sorry!

I work at an AMAZING dance supply store, and we sell a lot of quality stuff on ebay...so you can check that out

oh and if your wondering about being any good, or maybe you think you're starting too late? My jazz teacher started dancing just four years ago, when he was in college, and is already at a teaching level.
ok ur supposed to wear bblack tights and and white t shirt..and black ballet shoes..but u wont have to do that on u r 1st lesson.

some teachers arent really strict but some are ...the ones at local dance studios arent very strict so dnt worry.

thats all i can help
Probably the only option is Adult Beginner Classes. Regular programs are very age/level strict and camps likewise don't really have any adult beginner opportunities. However, if you can find a studio that teaches adult beginner classes (prob. at night) you will find it more friendly and relaxed. Often the people joining those classes are adults like you, dancers rehabilitating and teenagers starting late. Depending on the studio, you will probably only have to wear a fitted stretch black pant like a yoga pant and a T.
well done there is no need to be embaresed there arnt many bay dancer in the world so if you were to start your are more likely to go pro than an girl!I have only just started and i thought it would be strick but its the complete oposite i dont live in the u.s.a so cant help you there thats f oklahoma is in the u.s.a?

hope this helps and good luck
The only place I know of that has an adult dance camp is in Virginia:

Other than that, I think you could probably walk into any company and find an adult ballet class.

Regarding what to wear: Whether or not the dress code is strict varies by where you attend class. Usually the dress code for men is a white t-shirt, fitted black pants, and black ballet slippers.

Try Discount Dance, they have a men's department:

Good luck!
Well there is a great place in Kentucky were they are happy to get any guys. The uniform isnt strict all you have to wear is a under armour t-shirt and some sweats.
